The results of the Competitive Balance Lottery were revealed today. There will be six picks after each the first and second rounds for the 2015 First Year Player Draft. Teams that are in one of the ten smallest markets or receive one of the ten smallest revenue pools are eligible for picks in Round A.

- Rockies
- Cardinals
- Brewers
- Padres
- Indians
Competitive Balance Round B
- Reds
- Athletics
- Mariners
- Twins
- Orioles
- Diamondbacks
Those eligible this year, in addition to the six teams awarded picks were the A’s, Diamondbacks, Orioles, Pirates, Rays, Reds, and Royals. These teams that did not receive a pick in Round A were placed in a pool that included the Mariners and Twins to determine what teams would get picks in Round B. Teams can trade these picks at any time up until next year’s draft.
