The 2016 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft begins on June 9. The first two rounds (77 picks) will be broadcasted live on MLB Network from their own studios in Secaucus, New Jersey. The Philadelphia Phillies have the first pick after finishing the 2015 season with a 63-99 record and there is a decent chance that they will look to their own backyard for the top selection. Here is my first mock draft of the First Round, including Competitive Balance Round A.
